The Dean of Qatar University College of Education, Dr. Hissa Sadiq, opened the third professional day which had been organized by Al-Resala Independent Secondary School for Girls under the title "Qatari First" to encourage Qatari teachers to join teaching in the schools. In her speech at the opening ceremony, Dr. Hissa Sadiq shed light on the profession of teaching and briefed the participants about the importance of joining the teaching profession. School Operator, Jamila Al-Shaabi, said, we need to recruit at least ten teachers from Ministry of Education teachers whose schools will be transformed to Independent. She added, we need to benefit from their long experience in the school. Jamila urged that education is not the responsibility of one party only but is the responsibility of all parties concerned specially the educators. She stressed to abide with the directions of the wise leadership for developing education. The Operator directed invitation to all teachers to get involved in the education development process by working as teachers and not through their criticism ensuring them that it is easy to comment and difficult to join the development efforts. She concluded that she was very optimistic with what His Excellency the Minister of Education Saad Al-Mahmood described the teaching profession as the military ranks and will be placed in a distinguished position.
